Pattaya Beach

The Beaches in Pattaya are numerous. Below you will find a map of the Pattaya Beach as well as descriptions and photos for each of the areas.
Pattaya Beach
Pattaya Beach and Jomtien are the best known beaches among tourists and as a result, are at times very crowded especially on weekends. There are other beaches that are quieter such as Naklua Beach which is the ideal place for a peaceful stroll along the beach during the day . It's actually free to stroll along the beaches, but operators will charge you for the services they provide, i.e. the beach chair. 30 to 50 baht per day per chair is the going rate.

Naklua Pattaya Beach
Naklua BeachNa Klua Beach (to the north of Pattaya Beach) was once a fishing community. People depended on fishing and salt farming for a living. That's why old houses and the atmosphere of the olden days can still be seen today.
Wong Amat Beach - Situated on the northern side of Pattaya Bay, this 1-kilometer beach shares the same entrance as the Central Wong Amart Hotel. It is a quiet spot, good for swimming and relaxation.
North Pattaya features several kinds of beachfront accommodations, entertainment complexes and restaurants.
The 2nd Pattaya Road in North Pattaya highlights Tiffany Show, Alcazar Cabaret and Central Festival Department Store.
As abundant as sun, sand and sea along this bustling palm-fringed stretch, are superb hotels, value-for-money shopping malls and market stalls, a huge variety of restaurants, endless sports and leisure activities, and, of course, the bars and discos that have earned it its raucous reputation. Not only the perfect place to let the world pass by, but also one of the world's most energetic beach resorts, a happening place buzzing with modern-day energy, activity and options.
South Pattaya Beach, the most bustling area, is also called Walking Street as it is closed for traffic from 19.00 to midnight. The street is crowded with numerous shops ranging from tailor shops, clothing shops, sport equipment shops, jewellery shops and souvenir shops. Bars are densely located here along with restaurants close to the beach.
Jomtien Pattaya Beach
Jomtien Beach
A perfect place for children to build sandcastles, while traditional Thai massage is also available. At the very northern end of the beach, Pattaya Park is a amusement playground, altogether making Jomtien an ideal family beach.
That's partly why you find more Thais here. Native holidaymakers from Bangkok and beyond come to enjoy cool sea breezes and cheap seafood under the shade of large parasols and the pine trees which fringe the sand.
